Bios was created by Mihai Surdeanu (mihai AT surdeanu DOT name). Several other people contributed to Bios. David Dominquez-Sal converted Mihai's tokenization rules from lex to Java regex (the bios.tokenizer.Tokenizer class). Pere R. Comas wrote the literal number (e.g., "one hundred thirteen") recognizer (in bios.nerc.numex.Numex.parseSentence()).
